COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics

In the year 2021, the Albion Health Care Alliance:
- Offered 1,100 navigation services & made 750 calls related to COVID-19 vaccination clinics.
- Organized 20 COVID-19 vaccination clinics in Albion, coordinated street teams to provide accurate information to area residents about the vaccine, and trained 17 vaccination ambassadors.

HEALTHY BABIES DAY IS SEPTEMBER 23, 2023
Local families with little ones, or who are expecting little ones, should attend Healthy Babies Day. This free event will be Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon, at Kids ‘N Stuff Museum, 301 S. Superior St. in Albion. Families from Albion and surrounding communities are invited and encouraged to attend.
This event is for parents, who are expecting, and/or those with children, newborns through 18-months-old, and their caregivers in Albion and the surrounding areas—free samples and resources.
It is in partnership with the Albion Health Care Alliance and the Healthy Babies Day Committee. This year’s event is sponsored by the Albion-Homer United Way, Oaklawn Hospital, and Kids ‘n Stuff Museum.

Albion’s Gold Star Park was created by family and friends of those who perished in WWII and was dedicated 75 years ago. More local history: Albion Community Hospital was built 56 years ago but closed 21 years ago in 2002. Those who wanted to assist Albion residents in navigating local health resources created Albion Health Care Alliance.
